A boy's emotions: pleonasm de potentare?

Am avut de curand la engleza o tema despre incapacitatea sexului masculin de a-si exprima sentimentele. Ceea ce e foarte adevarat. Normally, boys are afraid to express their inner thoughts and ideas. Why? Because of the society. A boy is not capable to tell how he feels because he fears embarrassment. This is what the society teaches a boy: you cannot cry, you cannot express emotions, you cannot let your guard down, you always have to be strong. why??? because you are a man, and men don't cry, don't express their emotions, don't let their guard down and are always strong. Ajungem la o varsta si nu putem sa spunem ce simtim. Fiindca nu avem voi sa ne "expunem". Noi trebuie sa fim puternici chiar si cand suntem cu moralu la pamant. Noi nu avem voie sa plangem chiar si cand sufletul striga de disperare. Si nu e fals cand se spune ca te face mai puternic. Chiar esti mai puternic. Poti indura multe, fara sa spui nimic, fara ca ceilalti sa isi dea seama. Si poate asta te va ajuta in viata. Dar cum e mai bine?
